The really long ones just have too many wines of the same types.<br /><br />But many Japanese restaurants have ridiculously short and incredibly boring/ mediocre beverage lists. And this is not good at all. (Actually the term is unacceptable.) <br /><br />Sebo in SF (closed) is an example. Six sakes and that was it. No sparkling wine. No white, rose or red wine.
